From analysing previous students work i have learnt that I need to use a wide range of camera shots and angles, make sure the narrative is hinted at but not given away, and use the appropriate sound to reflect the mood etc. I think that this is very important because it avoids making the opening sequence morning, repetitive and not suited to the genre. My opening sequence needs to be a suited to a coming of age film and appropriate for an audience of mainly teenagers.
